YR8 CAMP

 Last week on wednesday the year 8s went to coromandel and it was a 1 hour and 30 minute drive. It was long and boring but we went to talk to our friends. When we got there we were helping some other teachers and we had to go sit in the dining room and we had to listen.then we went to our capin and the people in my capin was Sika,John,Jermaine,Devante,Tengionga,Moui,Franisc,Siakupenga,Brandon,Kahurangi,Osa,and finally the last one me.when we saw each other we were going to stay up the first night but it wasn't night yet.then after that we found out our teams. The teams were green yellow blue red and the names for the groups were kauaeranga kauri coromandel temps. Then we went to the gym but it was a basketball court but it was still cool. Then we went in our groups. We were on the bottom left. On the first game we played tag but we had to steal tags and blue won that round then we played this other game but we had to drag the person on the mat and had to drag them to the other end of the wall then we played tiger war yellow and red teamed and blue and green teamed yellow won because the teachers jumped in. then we did our first activity was axe throwing and this boy named kingston was very good he was better then all of us. Then it was night we went to go watch a movie but i stayed because we were aloud to and the most of my capin stayed with me and then we stayed up a little bit the we went to sleep and the was the first day.
