Animation Voice Over
Walt be thoughtful about links between oral (spoken), written, and
visual language features to give purpose to our writing.
Walt form and express ideas.
Walt edit our writing for correct punctuation and sentence types.


Your animation task: This term you have been creating an animation based
around the four forces of flight and how they work together to make an object of your choice fly.


Your voice over task: Using your animation plan to help you, write a voice-over to go with
your animation. Remember to use specific vocabulary and ideas you have learned this term.


Use our digital word banks and word walls in the class to help you with words to use!

Explain the four forces of flight.
  • Be sure to use the words: lift, thrust, drag and weight
Lift is what lifts you up.thrust is that makes you fast .
drag is what makes you go back. Weight is what makes you go down.
Explain what your animation shows. Be sure to describe
the flight of your chosen animation using lift, thrust, drag and weight.
Explain how the movement depends on the balance
between these forces (acceleration when thrust is more than drag).
